Eastbourne Town 0-2 SALTDEAN UNITED

By Thomas Nicholls

Tigers claim their first three points of the season with win at Eastbourne

Damion Freeman's men have opened up their account with an impressive 2-0 win away at Eastbourne Town.

Town are much fancied this season and as always they were backed by their vocal support - "the pier pressure".

However, Saltdean stamped their authority on the game early on and could've been one nil up well before they broke the deadlock through WES MILLIS on the 44th minute.

In the second half it was more of the same, as the champions continued to grow into the game and as Eastbourne were reduced to 10 men, the travelling tigers made sure of all three points as OLLIE ROWLAND made no mistake from the spot, firing past Nessling in the Eastbourne goal.
