Saltdean team up with African charity

4 months ago By Thomas Nicholls

The Tigers will be donating kits to the 'Rising Stars of Africa'

Saltdean United are proud to announce that we have teamed up with 'Rising Stars of Africa'.

Youth team manager Chris Walker, met up with former Saltdean coach Damon Crane to get the ball rolling as they begin to make donations to the charity.

Chris said "I've been in contact with Damon over the last few weeks and he explained how he is now working with the charity and I knew it was something that the club would love to get involved in"

"We have already sent four kits over to the charity and we are looking to continue supporting the Rising Stars of Africa. It's a great cause"

We await images of the kits being sported by the grateful recipients, so keep an eye out for all the updates here!

Meanwhile, if you're looking to donate to the RSOA or you're looking to learn more about the charity, please take a look at their website - http://www.risingstarsofafrica.org/
