After many months without football the Saltdean Tigers can’t wait to get back on the pitch! As the restrictions begin to ease we will be following the government guidelines, as set out in the roadmap, guidance from the DCMS and the FA as we return to the sport we love.

From this week our teams will start training again and whilst the current season has been curtailed in each of our respective leagues we have some matches in the diary to look forward to.

Our Women’s First Team play at friendly at home on 11th April as they await the full list of fixtures in their London & South East Women’s Spring League and the Women’s Development Squad back to league action from 11th April with their home games being played at BACA as usual.

The Under 18’s will face Horsham, Alfold and St Francis in the Southern Combination League U18 New Shield competition and our youth teams will play a series of friendlies and tournaments over the coming months. Meanwhile our Men’s First Team, who were league leaders when the season was cut short, will focus on getting ready for the new season with their imminent pre-season training programme.

Unfortunately during the first stages of our return to football all matches will be played behind closed doors, with no spectators allowed until at least 12th April and even then restrictions will apply. There is an exception for safeguarding children so our youth player’s parents should make sure they check the guidance that will be sent out by their team managers.
