The start of January has seen a busy few weeks at Hill Park as ground preparations continue.
The East Stand has moved, making way for the new clubhouse build whilst allowing football to continue, sheltering spectators from the biting cold winds we’ve experienced this month. Our contractors have also made temporary repairs to the track keeping it accessible for the club, park users, stables and farm workers.
BT have also been on site this week to relocate the telegraph poles, one of the last obstacles to be removed before the build can commence.
The coming weeks will see work starting on the northern boundary and preparation for the piles for the clubhouse foundations to go in.
Meanwhile behind the scenes meetings between the committee and project managers to go through the schedule of works as we edge closer to delivering the Legacy Project.
