Saltdean United were proud to take part in the Brighton & Hove Pride Community Parade on Saturday, with players from our Women’s First Team, Women’s DS and Under 14’s Girls along with coaching staff, committee members, and volunteers from the club.
We felt it was an important step forward as we continue to promote equality, diversity, and inclusion within the club, and a chance for us to show our support for LGBTQ+ rights. Our fabulous team marched from Hove Lawns to Preston Park with giant footballs, flags and whistles, spreading the key message…Football is for Everyone!
Thank you to everyone that cheered us on during the parade, and the brilliant feedback we’ve had online. We can’t wait to start planning for next year’s Pride!
