We are delighted to announce that Katie McIntyre will be our new Women’s 1st Team Manager on an interim basis. ‘Macca’ will be assisted by Amy Green who will step up as Women’s Operations Manager.

Both of them have a wealth of experience and know what it takes to continue the progression of the club. We had to act quickly in replacing the departing Zak Dove and are delighted that the girls have decided to step up to their new roles. On her new role Macca said, “Myself and Amy know this will be a challenging period, but we are determined to work hard and bring success to this amazing club. We are in a fantastic position in the league with some big games still to come, it is our job to continue the progression with such a talented squad.”

Joe McTiffen, Director of Football said, “It was a real shame to lose Zak and I’d like to thank him for all of his hard work in taking the team to the next level. I had to act quickly to ensure we had the right people in post to enable the girls to continue their progression. Both Macca and Amy are legends of the game and know what it takes to succeed at the highest level. I am delighted they have agreed to take on new roles and look forward to them working with the first team.”

The 1st team still have plenty to play for, only losing one league game all season with promotion still in their sights. The small task of an away trip to the Dripping Pan awaits in a couple of weeks, as we face Lewes 1st team in the semi final of the Sussex County Challenge Cup, a cup which we are the holders of.

The club is in a very exciting era as the brand new stadium is only months away from being completed. A double storey state of the art clubhouse, 3G pitch and spectator stand is really taking shape and soon the club will be playing in some of the best facilities in the area.

We wish Macca and Amy all the best in their new roles.
