What is “England Football Accredited”?

England Football Accredited is the new framework for League and Club accreditation and replaces The FA Charter Standard.

Saltdean United has been an FA Charter Standard Development Club and this means that the club now becomes an England Football Accredited 2 Star Club.

Being England Football Accredited means Saltdean United FC stands proudly among the ace of clubs: the Leagues and Clubs that take the lead, set the tempo and raise the bar for football in England.

What does “England Football Accredited” mean?

England Football Accredited clubs provide the best of football and are well run, high quality, safe and sustainable Clubs.

It means that the infrastructure is sound, robust, efficient and effective. It centres around the Respect standards and behaviours needed to make football in England something we can all be proud to be part of. Accreditation is also a clear signal to the community that Saltdean United values the importance of being sustainable and built to last off the pitch as well as on.

Saltdean United wants the very best for everybody: players, coaches, spectators, volunteers, and officials. Everyone counts. Everyone is valued.

The Two Stars Awarded recognises the Club’s provision of football from U7 – U18 (12 teams), female Development Squad (DS) and First Team (Step 5 of the women’s pyramid) and male U23s and First Team (Step 5 of the men’s pyramid) -16 teams, in all, across all age groups.
